Fully furnished 1200 sq ft condo facing the Philadelphia Art Museum in popular Fairmount neighborhood. 2 bedrooms (one currently furnished as an office with fold-out bed) and 1 bathroom. Short car ride/walk to University City. Parquet hardwood floors... with area carpeting. In-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. Ceiling fans in three rooms. Remodeled kitchen with wine cooler and dining area just off front windows. A/C units in three rooms. Lots of closet space. Storage facilities throughout the building. The apartment receives light from the front and rear, with a lovely 8th-floor view. A convenience store, dry cleaner and Thai restaurant are located in the building, as well as a gym, community room and health center. Short walk to Fairmount Avenue restaurants and bars as well as neighborhood hangs -- Black Taxi, Little Eddie's, Brown Street Cafe, etc. Plenty of park space and wooded areas, including Lemon Hill and Boathouse Row literally across the street. The building provides a free shuttle bus to Center City, elevator service and a secure delivery package room. The building is very secure, requiring entry and elevator access only with the resident's fob. Pets are allowed but there is a limit of 2 and a one-time $250 fee. I own the unit and the condo allows me to sublet for at least 6 months. Please no smokers. I will be overseas for the Fall semester. If the tenant needs less time (or more) I am willing to negotiate but will return in February, so renewal is not possible.
Before 6PM free 2-4 hr parking in front of bldg is easy. 2 opposing curbs & 2 sides of a central island offer 100 spaces (est). After 6:00 free parking is always available within 1 block of building. With $35 permit, cars can stay beyond hourly limits.
